Double-sided Executive Functions Mat:

Large double-sided printed mat to introduce executive functions in the classroom. The mat is large enough (1m2) and of sturdy quality to be laid on the floor. You can then use the action cards (separate item) to introduce students to the terms and concepts we use within executive functions.

Action Cards:

This set of action cards describes actions (behaviors) that we expect from students daily in the classroom. All actions can be linked to one or more executive functions. In combination with the Executive Functions Mat, you can stand with a group around the mat and do all kinds of activities with the cards. This initiates a conversation that promotes awareness and recognition among students. In this way, students become familiar with the terms and make connections with daily behavior in the classroom. You can also use the cards to let students 'score' themselves, or fill in an 'MY-report' to then work purposefully on their development.
