Problem Solving

Children learn to identify a problem and then research it. Ultimately, they come up with a design for a solution. Entrepreneurship means that children assign value to what they have devised. An example: older primary school children report that another deer has been hit and killed on the ring road near the school. They investigate how this can be prevented (with reflective markers), present their solution to the municipality, and work with the municipality and the neighborhood to purchase and install the reflective markers. Such a project calls for analytical, creative, and practical thinking.
