The shell game... with cards!

As a shell game with wooden playing pieces, the Black Cat (see the 'Schwarzer Kater' game here) has been a fixture in our program for years. For its 20th anniversary, it celebrates its premiere as a lovingly designed card game!

The rules are easy to translate: instead of shells, the cat now shuffles face-down playing cards, and the mice need to pay close attention. Soon the cat will ask them for the hidden treats: Where is the cheese? Where is the apple? Where is...? Whoever guesses correctly gets the card, but watch out if someone turns over the card with the black cat!
