Summary:

SIGMA-FI-ALPHA-277, or Sig for short, is swept up by a rail cleaner at a metro station. After a wild ride, the machine dumps him on a huge landfill far beyond the city limits. This is how Sig discovers that a world exists outside the safe place where he grew up. A world no one knows anymore. By venturing outside the city, Sig has been erased from the memories of everyone who knew him, and the Central Computer will not rest until Sig's own memories are also erased. To prevent this, he flees.

During his journey, Sig discovers what rain and wind are. What pain, sadness, and loneliness are. Yet, as he gets to know the outside world with its forests, lakes, and mysteries better, he faces the most difficult choice: does he still want to go home?
