English Proverbs Quartets

This fun quartet game is a playful way to learn how to use English proverbs and expressions in common everyday situations. It will improve your English. Practice makes perfect!

The game consists of twenty quartets. A quartet is a set of four cards of the same category. Categories include: misunderstanding, warning, feelings, character, and so on. Players ask other players for a card from a quartet (category) of which they already have one or more cards.
Example: "May I have the 'piece of cake' card from 'ease'?"
The goal is to collect as many quartets as possible.
