The village of Wakkerdam has recently been terrorized by Werewolves! Every night, some villagers, due to a mysterious cause (possibly the greenhouse effect), transform into Werewolves who commit gruesome murders. Citizens will have to unite to find out which of them are Werewolves, before the village loses its last inhabitants...

Who doesn't know the popular role-playing game The Werewolves of Wakkerdam? This game is all about cunning and deception: who are the Villagers and who are secretly the dangerous Werewolves? A game master tries to create a tense atmosphere among players where the Werewolves try to devour Villagers every night, but the Villagers, during the day, try to unmask (and thus eliminate) Werewolves.

This brand-new, revised base game contains 24 square character cards with which you can play an exciting game with 8-18 players. Step into the shoes of a Common Villager, Werewolf, Seer, Hunter, Witch, Thief, Cupid, Innocent Girl, and play an exciting game! But beware of the Mayor, as they have an extra vote during the game. Which of these characters will survive the longest to win the game?
